Tumbleweed North(For campers entering grades 2-6)
Nestled high in Kenter Canyon with a traditional rustic feel, Tumbleweed North has a great time in store for you! Here are a few highlights of our program:
Archery - Nothing beats the fun and excitement of hitting a bull’s eye! Through archery you willearn that practice and consistent effort will bring results. Horseback Riding - Howdy Partner! Here our Wranglers teach campers the fundamentals of good horsemanship. Saddle up and don't forget your helmet. Swimming - Whether you are learning to swim or perfecting a new stroke, you get to go swimming every day in our heated pool. With Red-Cross certified Lifeguards and Instructors, you will learn new skills and there is always time for a little free swim. Challenge Course - Our expert staff will give you a safe environment to challenge yourself; Your agility, trust and self-confidence will grow. Check out the brand new Ropes course and the awesome view of camp from the top of the wall! Inflatable Fun Zone - Bounce away in endless laughter, on our 40 foot long Obstacle Course or the Joust. Race your friends over the hill, though the puffy poles, or be challenged to stay on your pedestal… there is never a dull a moment. Outdoor Living Skills - Could you survive in the wilderness? Our new program will teach you how to cook, find food, build a shelter, and more, just like the Native Americans of California and with today's environmentally-friendly methods.
